Reviews for Boss BV9982 In-Dash DVD/MP3/CD AM/FM Receiver (Electronics) Purchased this radio on-line from Walmart and shipped to retailer. Also paid for the 3 yr prolonged warranty. And then paid $130 to have it professionally installed at Best Buy. A month later later the radio (am and fm) stop working. Called the Extended Warranty quantity they usually since it was inside ninety days, to come back it to the shop for an Exchange, I mentioned they don't carry it within the retailer and she or he mentioned that I HAD to enter the shop to maintain it. So trek into the store and the local assistant supervisor (who was great to work with) proven that not only don't they convey about it in-stock, but it's a discontinued merchandise so he can't EVER get a replacement. So we both call the Extended Warranty quantity again (with the shop manager best the charge) and their resolution used to be to supply to refund buy price... however then we're out the $130 set up rate (they would not quilt that). The ONLY resolution they said was to name Boss Audio directly and they would handle the return/repair. If I thought things had been dangerous sooner than, it only got worse...
Boss Customer provider said that we can ship it in to them for repair... and it would take 1-3 weeks AND we had to pay the delivery there PLUS an extra $20 for delivery it BACK. I explained this product was installed for barely a month and must be quilted...
